Refund policy

I founded The Junkyard Pearl on one key principle-If I wouldn’t buy it, I’m not going to sell it.  I do a lot of research on the products I sell and love to brag on the artisans and fellow small businesses I hand-select to carry in-store.  Nothing is accidental and almost everything has a story to follow the purchase- occasionally it may just be because “it was too cute to ignore.”

I strive to only offer the best quality merchandise in an array of price points and styles.  My wish is to give every person a shopping experience that rekindles their love for “boutique-ing” while simultaneously educating and sharing my passion for fashion, decor, jewelry, and accessories.

My passion for retail, love for gift-giving, and inability to sit still for too long has led me down a winding-path of artisans and merchants that I have the utmost confidence in!  I want you to have that same confidence when shopping at The Junkyard Pearl!

I want you to be completely satisfied with every purchase.

We have a 3-day exchange policy, which means you have 3 days after receiving your item to request an exchange. This is only for specific items and does not include vintage, antique, used, cosmetic, high-value, seasonal items.

To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your exchange is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting an exchange will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products).

Vintage/Antique/Used/Thrift/Re-Sell items are final sale and not eligible for refunds/returns or exchanges at any time. Please note condition and quality of item before purchase and ask questions if you’re unsure to guarantee a satisfactory purchase. We are happy to answer any questions about these items.

Seasonal and holiday items are not eligible for return , refund, or exchange.

Cosmetics, Bath Products, Hygienic Merchandise is not eligible for return due to the nature of the product.

All clothing/apparel/accessories/shoes must be brought in within 3 days of purchase. Items can be exchanged for store credit/gift card as long as your item is in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. This is a courtesy we offer to help mitigate the hassle of gifting and/or wrong size purchases so that the buyer may have the opportunity to get the correct style/size.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to contact us and let us know you need to do an exchange. Once the exchange is received and accepted, we can have your replacement mailed to you.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
